Very dry weather, commonly associated with winter and Santa Ana Wind conditions in Southern California, can be a challenge to facilities with critical processes that require both humidity and temperature control. The above photos are of recently installed electric steam humidifiers, manufactured by Pure Humidifier Company, while undergoing a formal start-up process. These humidifiers are redundant, serving a single central HVAC system. During normal operation, the duty of humidifiers A or B can be rotated via the front-end on a regular basis. Either humidifier can be isolated for maintenance in case service is required during the humidification season.
